This is the 69th year for the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism's High School Journalism Workshop. Over the years hundreds of high school students from across Ohio and surrounding states have come to Ohio University for a few days of intense training and hands-on work in journalism.
This summer we welcome 39 new high school journalists to OU for two and a half days of ethics, legal, skills and new media sessions, as well as hands-on experience in our converged newsroom. This year's student journalists come from high schools in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, New York and Kentucky. Their student work will be posted here on this blog, so stay tuned for stories about the workshop, as well as other stories on campus events.
